An Evening of Intimate Luxury with Chanel Sublimage

An Evening of Intimate Luxury with Chanel Sublimage

Some evenings feel less like events and more like cherished memories in the making. Chanel's exclusive Sublimage dinner at Pieter Brundyn's Residence was one of them.

With only four guests flown in from Johannesburg, the experience felt deeply personal - a rare opportunity to connect over exceptional food, thoughtful conversation, and the timeless elegance that defines the House of Chanel. Having worked with the brand for just under five years, I've come to appreciate that every Chanel experience is meticulously curated, but this evening felt especially meaningful.

After settling into the residence, I dressed for dinner in a Dion Lee skirt before joining fellow guests around an intimate table where every detail had been considered. Conversations flowed effortlessly, punctuated by laughter, shared stories, and reflections on beauty, creativity, and craftsmanship.

There was nothing performative about the evening. Instead, it was a quiet expression of luxury - one rooted in authenticity, impeccable taste, and genuine connection. Surrounded by art, exquisite interiors, and warm hospitality, it felt almost surreal to pause and realise I was part of such an extraordinary moment.

It was a reminder that Chanel's greatest luxury isn't simply what it creates, but how it makes people feel: seen, inspired, and invited into experiences that linger long after the evening ends.
