ABOUT
THE FOUNDER, LI-CHI PAN
South African-born Taiwanese photographer & art director, Li-Chi has an acute appreciation for composition, colour and minimalism. Her eye for creating detailed, high quality lifestyle and travel photography has built her a steady following of over 450,000 Instagram followers and made her a highly sought after collaborator with luxury brands like Audi, Country Road, Dior, Ladurรฉe, Nespresso and Tiffany & Co. She has travelled to Paris for Hermรจs, Singapore for Moncler, and won accolades, such as "Leading Fashion and Lifestyle Blogger" for the 2018 APAC Excellence Awards in Australia.
Li-Chi's passion for digital and social media content has led her to collaborate with brands in various capacities: as brand consultant, digital strategist, stylist and influencer, as well as working for five years as creative director for luxury media agency MAXMEDIALAB, and interior designer for the office, as a Masters of Architecture graduate. She recently went on to record her second podcast with AllBright, a private members club focused on creating networking opportunities for women in business.
Li-Chi has photographed global campaigns with Hailey Bieber (Baldwin) for Model Co., Tash Oakley for Seafolly, and Pia Miller for ghd. Li-Chi's wedding images captured for Nicole Warne went viral, with publications such as Vogue US and Australia, Vogue Living, Elle South Africa and Spain, and Harpers Bazaar Australia all playing homage to her work.
In 2018 Li-Chi was selected to be a Samsung Ambassador as part of an exclusive group of Australian photographers. This ambassadorship and opportunity saw her host workshops to educate and inspire, whilst also creating content that was amplified across my own branded platforms and Samsung's too. Wanting to explore and excel her passion for photography further Li-Chi undertook a sabbatical in early 2019 and went on to study at the New York Film Academy. A preview of her work created during this time was sponsored by Moรซt and Chandon andexhibited at Coma Gallery, in 2020.
Li-Chi is currently practicing in South Africa and is preparing for her second solo photographic exhibition.
In June 2021, Li-Chi and Li-Chi Pan Studios was listed on the FORBES 30 under 30 Africa list.
