I stayed at the Peninsula for last night in Paris and what a memorable experience it was to say the least! We made our way up to the rooftop bar for drinks after checking in and were stunned by the incredible view of the Eiffel Tower. We then headed to the Arc de Triomphe which was a brief five minute walk from the hotel. I felt lucky to be living in such close range to one of the most famous monuments in Paris!

Once we got back to the hotel we had a late afternoon high tea. The quality of the pastries and the vast array of teas left me in complete awe. I opted for an asian infused tea before heading back up to our hotel to rest. We paid the Cantonese restaurant LiLi a visit in the evening, with its Chinese opera decor of lacquer and carved wood, we were spoilt with the set menu. The duck was a highlight and a must try!
