Our little family escape at Capella Singapore

My recent stay at Capella Singapore was nothing short of magical. This was my second time staying here, exactly one year after my first visit when I attended my best friend’s wedding.

Returning this time with both my kids made the experience even more special, as I got to see the resort through their excited little eyes. Set within lush greenery, Capella beautifully blends modern luxury with rich history. The property was once home to restored British colonial officers’ bungalows from the 1880s, giving it a timeless and elegant charm.

We stayed in Villa 32, and it was absolutely perfect for our family of four. The private pool was a huge highlight – our kids couldn’t get enough of it! The thoughtful and magical touches truly warmed our hearts, from the adorable kids’ tents, bathrobes, colouring books, plastic sailboats, and peacock stuffed toys to the animal-themed macarons waiting for us upon arrival. The service was impeccable and incredibly attentive, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay.
