Paris After Dark
For the evening, I wore Montsand, styled for the occasion and photographed at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme before heading out into the Parisian night.
There is something wonderfully romantic about getting dressed in a beautiful hotel room, stepping out into Paris and knowing that the evening ahead is only the beginning.
An evening at Vaudeville Brasserie with CHANEL
There is something about a first night in Paris that feels inherently cinematic - the anticipation, the dressing, the anticipation of what the next few days will bring. For our opening dinner, the CHANEL team brought together girls from London, Australia, Canada and South Africa, and we gathered at Vaudeville Brasserie for an evening that was as much about new friendships as it was about beautiful food and Parisian atmosphere.
One of my favourite parts of these trips is meeting the women behind the different markets. Although we may be continents apart, it is always lovely discovering how much we have in common - and by the end of the evening, what began as introductions already felt like the beginning of new friendships.
Dinner was quintessentially French in the best possible way. We started with fresh burrata and tomatoes, followed by a beautifully comforting fish risotto, and finished with an indulgent chocolate cake. Simple, elegant and exactly what you want to be eating in Paris.
And because this is CHANEL, naturally, the evening came with a little theatre.
At the end of dinner, we were each given COCO MADEMOISELLE newspapers and a beautiful rose to take home - the kind of unexpected detail that turns a lovely dinner into an experience. CHANEL has a way of making even the smallest gesture feel like a spectacle.
New city. New friends. CHANEL. Paris after dark.
And just like that, the CRUSH ABSOLU journey was officially underway.
À bientôt…
