Paris, Chanel, and the beginning of something unforgettable.

Some trips begin the moment you step onto the plane - and others begin the moment you walk through the doors of your hotel in Paris.

This trip was extra special because I brought my sister along. Our work trips happened to coincide - she had a visit to a Paris hospital, while I was in the city for the CHANEL CRUSH ABSOLU launch, so it felt like the perfect excuse to combine work with a little sister time in one of my favourite cities.

Our home for the first three nights was the incredible Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, and I honestly couldn’t have imagined a better place to stay! We arrived at 09:00, far too early for a traditional check-in, but the team thought of everything and kindly let us freshen up in the spa after our journey. Exactly what we needed before stepping into Paris mode.

Then came the room… and what a room.

We stayed in the spectacular Vendôme Suite, a 220-square-metre suite on the fifth floor, complete with a 60-square-metre private balcony overlooking Rue de la Paix and the iconic Vendôme Column. With its beautiful living and dining spaces, master bedroom and incredible spa-like bathroom - including a private steam room, whirlpool bath and heated floors - it felt like our own little Parisian sanctuary.

Waiting for us was the sweetest welcome: a beautiful chocolate mousse cake and fresh berry platter. The kind of thoughtful detail that immediately makes you feel looked after - and very, very spoiled.

The Park Hyatt has that rare quality of feeling incredibly luxurious without ever being overdone. Elegant, understated and perfectly Parisian.

And with CHANEL CRUSH ABSOLU on the agenda, Paris felt even more magical.

There’s something about experiencing a CHANEL launch in Paris that makes every detail feel that much more special. And sharing it with my sister made the beginning of this trip even more memorable.

Day one was only the beginning…
