On the Beach | Louis Vuitton

I was so ecstatic to have received this beautiful fragrance over the weekend.

We’re currently in level 4 lockdown in South Africa which has been a difficult time for so many people, however, mentally i’m on the beach. The French fashion house’s newest fragrance comes bottled up in an ombré glass falcon.

A fine mist made up of Japanese Yuzu, orange blossom combined with aromatics like rosemary and pink pepper - transports you to the beach. With one whiff you can feel the gentle waves rolling on the beach with the sun dancing on your skin.

Fingers crossed we’re not too far off from being able to travel again, until then i’ll be wearing this fragrance.

The nose behind this fragrance is Jacques Cavallier.

*Top notes are Yuzu and Neroli; middle notes are Pink Pepper, Rosemary, Sand, Thyme and Cloves; base note is Cypress.
