Celebrating the launch of Li-Chi Pan’s very first Solo Photography Exhibition.
After embarking on a solo trip to America for 4 months - I created a body of work which had never been seen before. Upon my arrival back in Sydney I visited several art galleries before deciding on exhibiting my work at COMA gallery. COMA aims to bring a dynamic and engaging focus to contemporary international art. In addition to an attentive curatorial approach it is characterised by a comprehensive understanding of artists exhibited and represented.
The gallery was designed to not only exhibit and promote emerging and established artists but to simultaneously concentrate on the conceptual aspects of their practice while fostering an educational environment for the viewer.
As an emerging artist I knew this would be the perfect canvas for my exhibition, Prologue. A special thank you to my sponsors of the evening, Moët & Chandon as well as Pixel Perfect Pictures. I couldn’t have pulled this all off without your continuous support.

Li-Chi is one of those truly unique people who leaves an indelible mark on everyone she meets. Humble, spirited, gracious, fiercely loyal, and of course, superbly talented, Li-Chi offers those fortunate enough to cross her path a unique and beautiful lens on the world around.
Tonight we have gathered at the Coma Gallery to preview her first “off-line” collection of works. Having created an impressive portfolio of beautiful imagery for her half a million+ followers on Instagram and her Blog, Li-Chi has collaborated with some of the world’s most impressive brands – Hermes, Samsung, Dior, Moncler, Net-a-Porter, Maserati and Moet & Chandon to name a few.
But, ever the perfectionist, last year Li-Chi headed to New York putting her job and life on hold for 3 months to pursue her passion for photography. Forever on a journey to perfect her craft, Li-Chi embarked on intensive photography studies at the New York Film Academy.
Thrown solo into the Big Apple and inspired by everything around her, Li-Chi was pushed outside her comfort zone as she worked night and day to hone her photography skills. The incredible work around you tonight is the result of her quest for knowledge, growth and creativity. Please join me in welcoming the talented Li-Chi Pan
