Girls Night In
MONOCHROME AT ITS FINEST
I have yet to discover an alcohol brand which has been designed in a more chic and minimal bottle than VDKA 6100. Upon setting eyes on this elegant bottle for the first time I had a sudden urge to buy it and keep it on my shelf purely for aesthetical purposes.
I later learned from my relatives in the states that the name VDKA 6100 is actually pronounced vodka sixty one hundred and is actually a reference to the distance between the territorial waters of the vodka’s source (New Zealand) and the vodka’s birthplace (states). Unlike most vodkas that are made from grain or grapes, VDKA 6100 is fermented in Reporoa on New Zealand’s North Island, using fresh cow’s whey and a strain of yeast hand-cultivated in the area for over 30 years. It is finely distilled and passed through a complex filtration system, before being blended with New Zealand’s purest natural spring water.
Glad I finally had the courage to open this beautifully packaged bottle and whip up an easy and effortless to make cocktail for my girlfriends this weekend.
