KENSINGTON STREET SOCIAL REVIEW
I have plenty of friends who've been to Kensington Street Social and have been raving about it for quite sometime, so naturally I wanted to check it out! I went and tried out the lunch menu this weekend and the ambience of the restaurant was simply impeccable. From the beginning to the very end of service - I couldn't fault my experience.
I would highly recommend the sourdough flatbrad of roast mushrooms and parmesan, the Tataki kingfish with Dill and vermouth dressing as well as the lamb rump to share! If you have time from Monday to Wednesday KSS also has an Express Lunch menu for $40 which includes two courses and a glass of wine, beer or soft drink of your choice. I will definitely be back to dry all the other dishes. Enjoy the images below!
In an attempt to retain the grand, historic public rooms of the 1860s and 1920s - of which the Café Royal was famed for - these Grade II listed spaces have been carefully restored.
I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights - come and see my photo diary and what I got up to.
