What an incredible year it's been! Dropping Architecture to pursue a career in media has seriously been the best decision I could have made. I remember it as if it were only yesterday when I called my mum to tell her about the unexpected job offer I had received from MAXMEDIALAB and whether or not to go for it. Her reassurance gave me the confidence which I lacked at the time to make the career leap. Thank you to everyone who clicked that little green follow me button on Instagram and made this mini goal of mine possible! I remember when I first started out and I hit 1 000 followers and how excited I was!
To reach 100 000 is just crazy, something that I wouldn’t have done without some incredible support from family, friends and followers over the last 1.5 years.

My advice to wanting to grow a bigger Instagram following is to be patient, be consistent and to engage.

For Mike’s farewell I decided to organise a special surprise with the generous help from the team at Maserati We took the Maserati Ghibli out for a weekend trip in Sydney! Mike was lost for words and completely ecstatic about the experience. We cruised with the sun roof open and enjoyed some much needed time together before his big move!
