Day 2: Audi Hamilton Island Race Week
Event & Travel
Day two of Audi Hamilton Island Race Week was one that went by in a blink of an eye! We started out the day by sailing through Hamilton Island on the 120ft Quantum super yacht. I felt so incredibly blessed to be experiencing the island with close friends and great conversations. With the warmth of the sun on my skin we decided to take a quick dip in the ocean and lay on the deck to dry up. It was such a special way to experience the islands and one which will stay with me for a long time.
We later got to experience the ultimate Q5 driving experience and it was an amazing experience to say the least. Audi offered an exclusive test driving experience of the all-new Q5 on a challenging course at Frangipani Park which put this extraordinary new model to the test. We hit up steep dirt roads and I was pleasantly surprised at how tough the car was. With an exceptional navigational touch screen system and easy steering it made driving so effortless. Being a huge fan of adventure and long distance driving fatigue is something I am quite aware of. The Audi Q5 removes any additional effort required when driving to make your driving experience easy to remove fatigue!
We ended the evening with a closing dinner by Shannon Bennet set outdoors beneath the stars. A delicious feast was prepared and beautiful conversations were shared. Thank you to the incredible team at Audi for allowing me to document my experience during my short stay on Hamilton Island, I hope you enjoyed my blog posts documenting my time here! Till next time! x
In an attempt to retain the grand, historic public rooms of the 1860s and 1920s - of which the Café Royal was famed for - these Grade II listed spaces have been carefully restored.
I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights - come and see my photo diary and what I got up to.
