GLASS BRASSERIE
They say that one thing you should never force or rush is getting to know someone. But when we met for the first time it honestly felt as if I was meeting a stranger I knew my whole life. I've always been told that the only way you can sit and talk for hours with a beautiful individual is if their mind is just as beautiful. Thank you again for an evening of effortless smiles and laughter, D.
I'm honestly not quite sure I could have asked for a better evening at the Glass Brasserie. Upon entering we were greeted by sky-high ceilings and dim lighting with the most spectacular view of Queen Victoria Building. We opted for the generous seven course degustation menu with matching wines which was specifically selected by the sommelier team and i'm pleased to let you know that it didn't disappoint in the slightest. Also a heads up - remember to ensure that you allow for 2.5 - 3.5 hours for this tasting menu! We left three hours later feeling comfortably full and can't wait to visit again!.
Thank you again to the team at Glass Brasserie for putting together such a memorable evening for us.

In an attempt to retain the grand, historic public rooms of the 1860s and 1920s - of which the Café Royal was famed for - these Grade II listed spaces have been carefully restored.
I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights - come and see my photo diary and what I got up to.
