When in Rhode Island
My trip to America couldn’t have come at a better time.
We’re often so completely engrossed in the monotonous daily routine that is our life that we forget to live a little. I’m certainly not the one to preach – being a complete workaholic myself and leaving behind what felt like a mountain of work left me feeling a little more guilty than usual – but it’s important to make time for those moments that matter. In an attempt to retain the grand, historic public rooms of the 1860s and 1920s - of which the Café Royal was famed for - these Grade II listed spaces have been carefully restored.
I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights - come and see my photo diary and what I got up to.
