A Weekend Spent at Audley Boatshed
As i’ve been travelling quite a fair bit - i’m always forever grateful to be back in Australia with the people I love most. Having a bit of down time allowed me to do a little roadtrip to Audley Boatshed with my good friend, Arvin. We found this hidden gem located in the Magnificent Royal park of NSW. Upon our arrival we paid $25 for an hour hire for a row boat.
Arvin and I decided to setup a little rustic, picnic setup to unwind for the afternoon. We prepared fresh white linen, an old wooden crate, freshly baked pear cake, sweet figs and to top if all off : three wonderful tubs of Blue Ribbon crafted ice-cream. (I’m a huge fan of the salted and buttermilk vanilla to say the least!).
Try the 4 mouth-watering flavours below:
- Signature Buttermilk Vanilla
- Rich Chocolate
- Classic Cookies & Cream
- Salted Vanilla with Caramel swirl
My favourite flavours are Salted Vanilla and buttermilk vanilla!
Buttermilk vanilla goodness from Blue Ribbon Crafted Ice-cream made from 100% sustainability of Victorian cream, which makes this product an indulgently rich tasting Ice cream! :)
Blue Ribbon Crafted Ice-Cream can be purchased at Woolworths or Coles. Enjoy ice cream the way it was meant to be!
In an attempt to retain the grand, historic public rooms of the 1860s and 1920s - of which the Café Royal was famed for - these Grade II listed spaces have been carefully restored.
I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights - come and see my photo diary and what I got up to.
