On a Digital Safari with Optus.

EVENT

Having grown up in South Africa, I have always had a love for animals and scenic landscapes. When National Geographic & Optus invited me to the launch of the National Geographic app, it was simply an event I couldn't say no to.

Technology in the 21st century is all about personalised content, whether it's Facebook or Instagram algorithms. Nat Geo has taken it a step further in the wildlife and the natural world, using AI technology to analyse everything about your interests and browsing habits. I was so surprised to see how the app immediately responded to my preferences, filling my feed with my childhood animal loves - giraffes, zebras and elephants, all in that iconic Nat Geo photography style. It even allowed me to zoom in on photos that caught my eye, all inside the app!

The app is available exclusively to Optus mobile customers - all the content is free and, most importantly, doesn't use any of your data (my eternal struggle every month).
